Proposal 6 /Proposta 6

English:

In this proposal it was required we do two pages of a journey (can be either inner journey or outer journey) with a limit of four pannels per page.

I chose to do it on a friend's original character in the window of a space ship.

Before producing the pages I wrote a script as part of the exercise.

Nesta proposta foi pedido duas paginas sobre uma viagem (podia ter sido tanto interior como exterior) com um limite de quatro vinhetas por página.

Decidi fazer sobre a personagem de uma amiga, à janela de uma nave espacial.

Antes de produzir as páginas escrevi um script como parte do exercício.

English:

This proposal was about doing an instruction manual. So I decided to do it on what I do best and it is drawing these two characters, its a tutorial explaining on how to draw their heads which many people seem to have trouble doing.
I also made it sound like it was their mother speaking because she was the actual designer of their bodies.

Esta proposta era sobre fazer um manual de instruções. Decidi faze-lo sobre como desenhar as cabeças destas duas personagens cujas muitas pessoas teem dificuldade em desenhar.
Também quis manter uma ideia de que é a mãe delas que explica pois segundo a história foi ela que as construiu.

Proposal4 /proposta4

The fourth proposal for class, we had to tell a story by using sets alone, and it was required four of them, two exterior ones and two interiors.

A quarta proposta para a aula, tinhamos de contar uma historia usando apenas cenários e eram necessários quatro deles, dois exteriores e dois interiores.

Proposal3 /Proposta3

English:

This is the result of my third proposal in class.

The idea was to create a monolog with a character for a few pannels in the beggining and then have a final image without that same character.

Este é o resultado da minha terceira proposta na aula.

A ideia era de criar um monólogo com uma personagem numas quantas vinhetas e no fim ter uma ultima imagem sem esta mesma personagem.

Proposal 2 /Proposta 2

English:

On this proposal we had to do a 4 frame comic with a punch line in the end.

My choice for this was to use the Canon character Swindle pursuading my two original characters AshBringer/Flamer and CliffStrider/Aqua into illegal racing.

Nesta proposta tinhamos de fazer uma pequena tira de BD com 4 vinhetas e uma punch line no fim.

A minha escolha foi de usar um personagem existente chamado Swindle, tentando convencer duas personagens de minha autoria AshBringer/Flamer e CliffStrider/Aqua a participar numas corrigas ilegais.

Welcome to my humble blog!

This blog was created to put up my work from "Processes and Methods of Comic Books", and so much of what I will be posting here are original and not to be used by any others.

I'm a 21 year old student, and I can't exactly say what I have studied for sure as my study life has taken many turns.

I was in a regular art department in highschool, but eventually gave up on it for educational and personal reasons, and ended up in a school in another city where I studied 2D and 3D animation.

Once done, I started studying Film in an even further away city, only to be yet again disappointed by the educational methods and quitting. This year, I am studying comic art and illustration in the city I live.

My goal is to work in long film productions, preferebly animation or fantasy/sci-fi live action movies, within the story development repartment (my greatest goal being that of Director).

During all these years I have only had two years with drawing lessons and quite frankly, did not learn a thing in them.

I can proudly say that all that I know so far was learned through research and an infinite amaunt of practice.

On a last note, I ask that my viewers/readers respect one another and myself, the art displayed here CAN NOT be used for other things (art theft,tracings, bases, etc...).

Bem vindos ao meu humilde blog!

Este blog foi criado para mostrar os meus trabalhos da disciplina "Processos e Métodos da BD", e assim, a maioria dos trabalhos que vão ser postos aqui serão completamente originais (de minha origem e de mais ninguém, não de criativo) e não poderão ser utilizados por mais ninguém.

Sou uma aluna de 21 anos, e não sei bem dizer o que estudei em concreto, visto que a minha vida escolar teve muitas reviravoltas.

Estive no secundário normal em Artes, mas eventualmente desisti por motivos escolares e pessoais.

Recuei então dois anos para entrar num curso profissional de Animação 2D e 3D no Porto.

Uma vez concluído entrei numa universidade de Cinema na Covilhã (UBI ) de onde também desisti por achar que a educação na escola era inadequada e inútil.

Este ano então entrei numa escola de Banda Desenhada e Ilustração em Guimarães (onde vivo).

O meu objectivo é trabalhar para longas metragens, particularmente animação ou Fantasia/Ficção Científica da Live action. Tenho particular interesse na área do desenvolvimento de história e de produção (tendo como objectivo máximo tornar-me realizadora).

Durante todos estes anos apenas tive dois anos de aulas de Desenho nas quais não aprendi absolutaente nada, por tanto, sinto-me confiante ao afirmar que tudo o que sei até hoje, aprendi através do meu esforço e curiosidade.

Como ultima nota, peço a todos os meus leitores que por favor se respeitem uns aos outros e que me respeitem também a mim.

Roubos de arte, re-utilização dela ou outra forma de cópia não será tolerada.
